I founded my practice on the belief that everyone deserves an advocate who sees the human being behind the case file. A San Antonio local, I earned my business degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio and my law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. My roots are in Bexar County, and that is where I have chosen to focus my practice exclusively.
While at St. Mary’s, I volunteered with the Wrongful Conviction Review Project, advocating for those whose lives were derailed by systemic failures. I also worked with the ID Recovery Program, helping neighbors experiencing homelessness navigate the hurdles required to regain their stability and access to housing. These experiences taught me that the law is not just about statutes, it is about people.
Before focusing my career on criminal defense, I navigated complex challenges for others. I have represented small business owners in private practice and served with the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) during the COVID-19 disaster. I also spent time at one of the state's largest personal injury firms, learning how to build cases that hold powerful interests accountable.
Today, I use that diverse experience to benefit my clients. As a small business owner myself, I understand the weight of a reputation. I bring that same discipline and attention to detail to every defense I build.
When I am not in the office or the courtroom, I am usually on my bike. I am an avid cyclist and enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and our dogs. I believe in staying active, staying engaged with my community, and bringing that same energy to the work I do for you.
